Hi everyone:) This page discusses the different tasks that I have been completing weekly for this course over the past 6 weeks. After completing the task, we receive our very own reward or "badge" which I found to be super uplifting and motivating after completing the hard work! The badge I chose to discuss is called the Cup of Wisdom.
The Cup of Wisdom gave me background knowledge that helped me to better understand the digital world. The 6 badges I gained from the cup of wisdom include: Gamification Badge, Digital Identity Badge, Digizen Badge, PBL For Digital Learners Badge, PJBL For Digial Learners, Digital Teacher, and Modules of Choice. These tasks gave us the opportunity to expand our understanding with digital technology. I am very happy to have gained this badge and I am confident to apply this new information into my future classroom.
Overall, this course has sparked a new interest as a teacher candidate to explore different apps, to find efficient ways to stay organized, get creative, and have fun in the classroom (for both myself and the students)! Before this course I was naive about the plethora of resources we have available to us through the simple click of a button. My skills as a technological user have advanced immensely and I am confident enough now say I am a techno savvy individual, ready to implement my new skills into the digital world and in the classroom!
